AIMS & OBJECTIVES
- To promote the study and appreciation of the history of the Diocese and its
Parishes and to set this history within the context of the religious history of
Australia.
- To encourage the preservation of records and other material.
- To promote the publication of papers.
- To visit places of historic interest.
PUBLICATIONS
The Society publishes a journal twice a year in April and October. It is mailed to all members. The cost is included in the membership subscription. Back issues may be purchased for $3.00 each.
AFFILIATIONS
The Society is affiliated with the Royal Australian Historical Society.
OTHER
The Society sponsors a Clergy and Parish Database. This is a record of the history of service of the clergy of this Diocese reaching back in time and being updated as changes occur. The database is being managed by Dr. H. G. Quinlan whose phone number is
